Pacific Science Center
I went to the Pacific Science Center for a field trip.First Presidents Club and I went walking around looking at fun fact about dinosaurs. Then we went too look at the CREEPY bugs . While also in the bug room there was a room full of butterflys. There were butterflys everywhere. There was colorful ones, small ones, big ones, but they were all great. After that we went too learn about animals and how they digest there food. I learned alot at the Pacific Science Center and I would love to go back. Sincerely, Monique

Imax theater- SEATTLE

the dinosaur there were moving. They were fake. They looked big and spongy. And then we felt their poop. It was called dung. It was a fossil of their dung, it was kind of hard and rusty and dusty.

the imax was fun it was in 3-D

The whole big screen was very big. It felt like we were moving in the water. It was a lot of fun. The words came all the way to your face.

Nativity House

The homeless shelter was an exciting activity to do. We were folding clothes for the homeless people. While we were there we saw a baby. We also saw a lot of baby clothes that we tried to give to the baby. There were over 100 people there and I had a fun time helping them. I felt very helpful while I was there. I learned that a lot of people don't have what I have, but that doesn't mean we can treat them badly. - Jasmin

Tacoma Lutheran Home

Today at the Tacoma Lutheran Home I met a resident named Bob. He is a really nice person. We talked about food, Spain, and math. We read a book called, "Sweet Clara and the Freedom Quilt". It was about a girl who wants to go back to her mother. Her mother lives very far away from Clara. Bob said that this was the highlight of his day and was very happy that we came over. It was an overwhelming experience for me. It was a very special day for me. -Pinkie

Homeless Shelter/ Nursing Home

At the homeless shelter there were a lot of clothes for the homeless. My job was to fold blankets and help organize the donations. I felt sad because there was a little baby girl there with no food, no shoes, and she had to sleep outside. So if you have any donations, drop them off at the homeless shelter.

At the nursing home I taught the residents NimLike games. I felt sad because the residents didn't have family around because they moved. I could tell they enjoyed us being there because of the smiles on their faces. I had fun. At the end, I gave them a thank you card. It was a pleasure meeting them all.- Monique

Cynthia Breazeal- Robot designer

S.T.E.M stands for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics. S.T.E.M careers are important to me because if they were not made we woundn't have a lot of things on earth now. - Monique

This person uses math in her career by checking measurements for the robots she designs. The most insteresting about this person's job is that she designs robots. - Pinkie

I think what motivated Cynthia to do her job was her parents, grandparents, and her friends. she influences others because her robots make people happy and in the future she thinks robots will be in every home. - Jasmin
